Water Safety Fair in Sausalito

Free family-friendly fun (and alliteration) alert!

Mark your calendar for Sat, May 20th from 10am-1pm for the Water Safety Fair in Sausalito. The event, held at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate (Flotilla 1
-2) @ 435 Murray Circle in Fort Baker, will feature:

• Coast Guard, Fire, and Police boats and trucks
• Meet friendly Search & Rescue dogs (#1 reason I'll be there)
• Free life jackets
• Learn knot tying and how to throw heaving lines
• Interactive cliff rescue demonstrations
• Helicopter rescue swimmer demonstration
• Kids can play with "Coastie" the remotely-operated vehicle
