CA Dream For All Program

It's finally easier to buy a home in California!

On March 27th, CalHFA launched the Dream For All program, which is a shared equity program allowing buyers to receive 20% down to buy their home. You pay no interest on that down payment; but when you sell your house, you must repay the loan plus 20% of the equity appreciation.

To qualify:
1. You have to be a first-time homeowner (have not owned a home in the last 3 years)
2. You must be below the income limits (depending on the county)
3. Have a minimum 680 Fico Score
4. Must occupy property within 60 days of closing
5. Required to take a homebuyer class (online for around $99)

For many Californians, this is finally a way to make the impossible – buying a home – possible. Reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more!
